Now in its third edition at The Tara Building, QUIRK has become a staple for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, offering a safe, welcoming, and joyful space to celebrate creativity and resilience. This summer’s market is more than just an event — it’s an extended Pride celebration and a lead-up to Trans Pride, calling for solidarity and visibility in a time when unity is more important than ever.
“The Tara Building has been an incredible support to small businesses since its creation,” said a representative from QUIRK. “Its central and accessible location has helped us grow and reach more people, making it the perfect home for events like ours.”
Visitors can expect a diverse range of stalls featuring handmade goods, artwork, vintage treasures, zines, self-care products, and more — all created and curated by members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Beyond shopping, QUIRK is a space for connection, dialogue, and collective empowerment.
“In these tough times for our community, we need to come together, support one another, and stay strong,” the team added.
“We’ve got the space — now we just need you.”
