‘’2024 has been a challenging year for us, as we keep our search for a better space to run our seasonal markets. This time, we have partnered with the fumbally stables to run a small version of Quirk Market Dublin in the long room on Saturday the 7th of September from 10 am to 5 pm.’’
Quirk has selected diverse artists and entrepreneurs to join them, bringing various art, home decor, jewellery, and custom and vintage clothing. Most of the traders are Dublin-based queer creatives.
Starting on Saturday 7/09, it's mental health awareness month, and they celebrate it by opening spaces for the queer community to gather and support each other. Have a chat, and feel safe to be their authentic selves.
‘’In Dublin, the need for more spaces minimised our options, but our partnership with the stables is an amazing opportunity for small businesses to present their work to different audiences and showcase their work in detail.’’
‘’The closure of venues in Dublin City is an issue that affects all of us. We are fighting for more spaces, and creating new ones. All we need is more inclusion, representation and active participation in our community.’’
See you all at the stables!
